I remeber being home alone when i was 12 and it was:

Me: *listening to music*

*groooowl*

Me: The hell? *grabs baton and walks out of room*

*floor scraping and growling*

Me: Oh shit.....*grips baton harder*

*clatter*

Me: *turns on the light and does pathetic war cry*

My dog: *shakes toy violently and growls*

By the way.....she's a yorkie.....
